Serenity Smiles Dental is pleased to offer our patients payment plans like MediPay and the National Dental Plan, to assist you in achieving your perfect smile.

How Can The National Dental Plan (NDP) Help?

The National Dental Plan Epping or NDP is a payment plan that covers the cost of your dental treatment up to a limit. You will pay a small deposit and then pay the balance back in fortnightly payments, without interest. You can make extra payments or pay the plan up early without penalties.

How Much Can You Borrow?

The NDP Epping can approve up to $9000 worth of treatments and typically requires you to make a deposit of 20% towards the treatment.

How Do You Qualify For NDP?

The National Dental Plan is efficient and allows patients to apply online. In order to qualify you need to have a credit card or bank account for your repayments, and be employed for at least 30 hours a week. You do need to be a permanent resident or Australian citizen who is at least 18 years of age or older to qualify. The NDP is also available to pensioners and veterans. You also need to present a valid driver license.

How Does Medipay Work?

If you need a bigger amount than the NDP’s $9000 limit, Medipay offers up to $30000 for people over the age of 21. People between the ages of 18 and 21 years can borrow a maximum of $5000. MediPay funds are available for dental, cosmetic and medical procedures.

The payment plans need to be repaid within 48 months but you are able to repay your loan faster, and not be charged any penalties. Repayments can be made fortnightly or monthly. MediPay does charge interest, which is subject to individual assessment.

Who Is Eligible For Medipay?

MediPay is available to permanent residents and Australian citizens older than 18 years. You should be earning a minimum of $25000 per annum and be employed with a valid passport, driver’s license or Medicare card. You should not be bankrupt.

MediPay will only pay for services delivered by qualified, registered health professionals.

The eligibility check and registration process can be done online, making it quick and efficient.

What Does Medipay Cover?

MediPay funds can be used for dental, medical and cosmetic procedures, as well as elective procedures. The funds can also be used for Medicare-covered procedures that require a gap payment. MediPay will pay your provider directly to save you the hassle.

Serenity Smiles Dental accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and cheques. We also accept On the Spot (HICAPS), Medicare (CDBS) and National Dental Plan (NDP).

We are proud to accept all dental insurance. Serenity Smiles Dental is also a preferred provider for NIB, Defence Health, Australian Unity, Peoplecare, Frank Health Insurance, Health.com, GMHBA, Budget Direct Health Insurance and Smile.com.au. We also accept NSW hospital vouchers.
